The Request
A repeat travel service arranger asked for bread boxes for an international group staying at a Tokyo hotel, "in the same style as the order in June." The final order was 131 boxes, and 19 guests had dietary requirements.
Our Delivery
Bagged one by one, labeled with names
Each box was put into its own carrier bag before packing. Separate-menu boxes carried the guest's name and the menu. We sent photos and the menu early that morning, then handed everything to the client at the hotel driveway.
Dietary Requirements
The base menu adjusted first
Nineteen guests had dietary requirements, including shrimp, nuts, seafood, seaweed, beef, lamb and pork. Working with the client, we first adjusted the whole regular menu so it used none of these ingredients. That reduced the number of guests who needed a separate menu to eight.
Gluten-free boxes
Guests who needed gluten-free meals received a box of rice balls with side dishes, salad and fruit.
