The Request

A repeat travel-agency client needed breakfast for an overseas tour group leaving its Tokyo hotel very early. Before the day, the group grew from 47 to 49 guests and the departure time moved earlier.

Our Delivery

Planned backward from the departure time

The group size grew from 47 to 49, and the departure time moved earlier, so we moved our delivery forward into the 4 AM hour.

Easy to eat on the bus

Each box held two half-size Danish pastries, a croissant and several kinds of cut fruit, with 100% orange juice. We adjusted bread sizes and combinations to fit the budget.

Finished overnight, delivered before departure

We sent the client photos of the finished boxes in the 2 AM hour. Forks and wet towels were placed inside each box, and everything was left with the hotel front desk.

Dietary Requirements

Dietary information checked beforehand

The client shared the guests' restrictions in advance — including crustaceans, seafood and gluten. Because there was concern about almonds, every menu item that used almonds was changed.

Why This Works for International Groups

  • Delivery timed to the group's departure — even in the 4 AM hour
  • Changes in headcount and timing handled before the day
  • One box per guest, easy to hand out and eat on the bus
  • Handover at the hotel front desk

This is a past delivery example. Our current standard international delivery area is accommodation hotels in Tokyo, Yokohama and Kawasaki.

Dietary requests: please tell us the number of guests and their exact conditions in advance. Availability depends on the requested conditions.

About Urara Bakery

Urara Bakery is a bakery, not an on-site catering company. Our professional bakers make the bread from flour in our own bakery; we then check, pack and deliver your order directly to your hotel or designated location and hand it over to your group's contact person. Venue setup, table arrangement, food display, serving, on-site staff, event operation and delivery to guest rooms are not included in our standard service.
